Start a “Job Search Debrief” After Every Interview
Interviews are like boss battles, whether you win or lose, you learn. Most job seekers move on without reflecting. That’s a missed opportunity.
Introducing: the Job Search Debrief — your personal post-interview strategy session.
🎯 Why It’s Powerful:
✅ Helps you improve performance with each round
✅ Keeps your confidence grounded in data, not emotions
✅ Makes it easier to spot patterns in the feedback or questions you’re getting
✅ Helps you write more personalized follow-ups
📝 What to Include in Your Debrief:
What went well?
→ Did you build rapport? Nail a story? Ask thoughtful questions?
What could have gone better?
→ Did you blank on a question? Talk too much? Miss the “why us”?
What questions were asked?
→ Save them — they’ll likely appear again in future interviews.
Did you mention your key strengths?
→ If not, you know what to prioritize next time.
How did you feel after the interview?
→ Gut checks are useful for culture fit awareness.

Create a simple spreadsheet or Notion board where you log every interview and your debrief. Over time, you’ll have a tactical database of what’s working and what needs refining.

What’s new with Dellyn Digital📝🎮?
This week was a big one for me!
I got my hands on the Switch 2 (yes, it’s everything I hoped for and more!).
I hosted my first-ever live stream of a video game event, and there’s definitely more to come.
Oh, and my wife won a $5,000 art piece by a Brooklyn artist at the Nintendo Switch 2 launch event we attended. Total win! Check out the Artist here
