Newest YouTube video(s) this week:
In this week’s video, I talk about the three-letter word most job seekers hate.
Yup, well not Yup but, ATS – Applicant Tracking System.
I shed some light on what it is and how to understand it so you can get your foot in the door.
Job hunting Tip of the week 💡
Save Job Descriptions Before They Disappear
Job listings are temporary, but the information inside them is gold.
If you’re applying and not saving a copy of the job description or have it saved on your tracker on Huntr, you’re making the job hunt harder for yourself.
Here’s why saving job postings is a game changer:
🔍 1. Job Descriptions Often Get Taken Down
Companies remove postings once they’ve collected enough applicants or filled the role.
If you get an interview weeks later and don’t have the listing saved, you’ve lost your reference point.
✅ Always copy and paste the full job description into a doc, note, or tracker right when you apply.
🗣️ 2. Use It to Prepare for Interviews
Job descriptions are cheat sheets for what the employer wants.
They tell you:
What problems they need solved
What skills and experience they value most
How to tailor your answers and questions in the interview
🎯 Refer back to it when prepping to align your talking points with their language.
✍️ 3. Customize Your Resume and Cover Letter
If you’re applying to multiple roles, the details can blur together.
📄 Saving the job description helps you:
Tailor your bullet points
Reuse relevant phrases for keyword matching (ATS win)
Match tone and culture cues in your cover letter
💬 4. Follow Up With Purpose
Weeks later, when you’re writing a follow-up or thank-you email, referring to something specific from the job posting helps you stand out.
Example:
“I was especially excited about the opportunity to work on cross-functional campaigns like the one mentioned in your job post.”
That level of detail shows preparation and enthusiasm.
Treat job descriptions like intel. Save them before they disappear so you can prep smarter, follow up better, and customize everything with precision.
Need a tracker that stores job postings automatically?
Check out Huntr, it’s the tool I used, when I was on the job hunt.

Well, I took the written driving test and I… passed!
I got 16 out of 20, I think that’s a B+. If that’s true, then that’s the same grade I got for my capstone prestation I did back in college.
It was based on the video game industry in 2014.
Those we’re the days, right!!?
Compared to what’s going on these days with all the layoffs. I heard that Xbox is going to lay off 20% of its workforce this week?!
If this is true, I am going to make a video about it, this is getting out of hand. AI is rising up and I am not sure; people are ready for what’s coming. That’s why I am making these videos, newsletters, and teaching others with my business. It’s so I can help others on the job hunt so they can understand how to move for the future.
Aside from that, I reached over 16,000 views on my YouTube Channel. Shoutout to the 194 subs that stick with me and the interesting path i am taking. Looking forward to adding value to you in the coming days, months, and years!
Looking forward to playing Donkey Kong: Bananza on July 17th. I put a poll up on my LinkedIn and so far, people want to see me stream this like I am doing it for Oblivion Remaster, Doom The Dark Ages, and Mario Kart World.
Oh, and one more thing. I just made a new addition to Dellyn Digital. The Level up Network. It’s an community built for job seekers and professionals who love to play video games and want to level up in their job hunt, career, and life.
I am looking forward to level up others in this community and playing games together.
