Job hunting Tip of the week 💡
Post on LinkedIn to Stay Top of Mind During Your Job Hunt
When your job hunting, applying isn’t enough anymore, you also need to be seen.
Most people treat LinkedIn like a job board.
But the truth is, LinkedIn is a visibility engine, and posting is how you stay on the radar of recruiters, hiring managers, and potential collaborators.
Here’s why showing up in the feed matters:
📢 1. Visibility = Opportunity
Every post you make has the potential to reach:
• Recruiters hiring right now
• Alumni or past coworkers who can refer you
• Decision-makers looking for someone like you
Even 1-3 thoughtful posts a week makes a difference.
🤝 2. You Build Trust Through Consistency
Posting shows, you’re:
✅ Engaged in your industry
✅ Communicating clearly
✅ Actively learning and growing
This builds credibility beyond what a resume can show.
🧠 3. Your Content = Proof of Value
Posting gives you a place to highlight:
• Projects you’re working on
• Lessons from past roles
• Thoughts on trends in your field
• Reflections from your job hunt journey
Think of it like showing your gameplay footage instead of just sharing your stats.
✨ 4. You Signal That You’re Open (Even Without Saying It)
You don’t have to write “I’m looking for work” to attract attention.
Posting about what you’re learning, building, or passionate about sends a signal that you’re active, available, and motivated.
That’s magnetic to recruiters, trust me I would reach out to you and many would.
🛠️ 5. Not Sure What to Post? Try These:
• “What I learned from my last project”
• “3 things I wish I knew before entering [your industry]”
• “Here’s how I’m approaching my job search this week”
• A shoutout or thank-you to someone who helped you
Be real, be relevant, and show up consistently. LinkedIn isn’t just for networking behind the scenes.
It’s a place to broadcast your value.
When you post regularly, you stay visible, and opportunities come to you.

What’s new with Dellyn Digital📝🎮?
I am currently playing RE4 remake on my Steam deck and man this game is amazing.
That first section with the village man, it really set the tone of how the game will act.
I am playing this one personally because… well it’s a scary game and I don’t thing you want to see me jump a lot on stream.
This week was a really hard week for people who worked at Xbox.
A lot of layoffs happened, and it sucks.
I had to make a video going over it and what everyone is saying about it as well. You can check out the video here with my thoughts on this madness as well.
I am going to start a new series as well. I am going to go over how to do research on a company and the tools people can use to do so. It’s going to be called
The Company Checkpoint. A YouTube series going over a company and a company’s vibe, employee reviews, and events.
It will have four levels to it:
LEVEL 1: COMPANY OVERVIEW
LEVEL 2: GLASSDOOR & INDEED REVIEWS
LEVEL 3: CURRENT EVENTS / NEWS
LEVEL 4: SHOULD YOU APPLY?
I will make an intro video going over how to do this with examples then I will make different videos going over different companies. I will poll about them on LinkedIn as well.
I will keep you posted, always.
The only way to live life.
