It’s a two-way street, when it comes to getting a job. If you’re on the job hunt and using AI, don’t use this this way.

Maximize the “Open to Work” Feature on LinkedIn

Letting recruiters know you’re open to new opportunities can significantly boost your visibility, but it’s not just about flipping a switch. Using LinkedIn’s “Open to Work” feature strategically can make a big difference in how you’re discovered by recruiters and employers.

Here’s how to make the most of it:

1. Go to your LinkedIn profile and click the “Open to” button beneath your photo.

2. Select “Finding a New Job.”

Thanks to everyone, who took the time to vote on my LinkedIn poll on when I should go Live on my YouTube channel.

We got two winners:
Thursdays from 8pm - 9pm won with 44%.

I am also, doing it on Saturday mornings from 7am - 9 am as well. That got 39%.

I am going to be playing some games mostly, but I plan to review subscribers LinkedIn profiles and resumes in real time.

I think, I will make a poll on my LinkedIn and have people send me their resumes and LinkedIn profiles. We will see, still working it out.

I updated my LinkedIn with a new role. I am a Bowl Leader for Glassdoor!

I am a moderator and make content for the “Recruiters” bowl with 530k+ members.

I made a post about it, on my LinkedIn.

You know, this is crazy. I worked with Glassdoor a bit at that role that laid me off.

Now, I am working with them. This shows that if you apply yourself, things will happen.

You just need to keep moving forward with a plan and press start on yourself.
