More Layoffs hit these major companies across sectors.

This time it’s some big ones.

Oracle, Kroger, Nike, Scale AI, and Adidas, have announced staff reductions this year.

I used to work with Kroger in the past. I hired some people who stock their shelves.

Adidas plans to cut up to 500 jobs at its German headquarters, nearly 9% of its local workforce.

Despite strong Q4 2024 profits, the company cited operational complexity as the reason, not cost-cutting.

This sounds familiar, doesn’t it?

These layoffs reflect ongoing restructuring efforts, even among companies reporting solid financial performance.

Many cite the need to streamline operations or adapt to changing business models.

But I just think it’s greed.
